As explained in the SSI Circular No. 2022/19;

  1. In 2022, for workplaces registered before 2022, a minimum wage support will be provided in an amount equal to the daily earnings subject to premium of 179 TL, for workplaces in the private sector covered by a collective bargaining agreement 358 TL, and for workplaces engaged in lignite and hard coal mining 477 TL and below, multiplied by the number of working days of all insured persons subject to long-term insurance branches by 3.33 TL per day, for workplaces registered in 2022.
  1. If, as a result of investigations and inspections conducted by SSI supervisory and control officers, or based on court decisions, or from correspondence received from public institutions and organizations, it is determined that for the period from July 2022 to December 2022, in the relevant month, a deficiency in premium-based earnings declaration not exceeding one-tenth of the monthly gross minimum wage for 2022 (647.1 TL) has been reported, the minimum wage support application will continue for workplaces that rectify this deficiency within a fifteen-day period following a warning issued by the SSI. If the identified deficiency is rectified outside the fifteen-day period, the workplace cannot benefit from the support for the months/periods from July 2022 to December 2022, and if it has already benefited, the amounts utilized will be recovered from the employer together with late payment interest and penalties.
  1. The discount amount provided through minimum wage support will be offset against insurance premium debts arising from the following month(s).
  1. Employers will not be required to apply to benefit from the minimum wage support; all employers meeting the conditions will automatically benefit from this support.
