In 2023, the vehicle values that disabled individuals can acquire without paying Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) have been increased.

As of January 1, 2023, the threshold requiring the price of a vehicle, including all taxes, to be below 450,500 TL for the first acquisition of passenger cars, panel vans, pick-ups, off-road vehicles, ATVs, jeeps, station wagons, etc., to be exempt from SCT (Special Consumption Tax) for individuals with a disability degree of 90% or higher and those with a disability degree below 90%, has been increased to 1,004,200 TL.
